Read Kate Beaton's comics. Here is one of my favorites.

She doesn't follow a schedule but tends to post new stuff frequently. For starters, I recommend browsing through her website. Next, check out her livejournal account which has even more comics and which she updates more often. These days, I tend to just check the livejournal but the website is good for first time readers.

Watch Guy Maddin's My Winnipeg. Here's the trailer. It was a very touching and it also gave me many laughs.
